Gilgit: Police arrests Shiites for no apparent reason

After the execution style genocide of Shiites in Gilgit, the Gilgitee Police has started arresting Shiite youngsters and religious leaders for no apparent reason. Gilgitee Police, today, started busting into Shiite neighbourhoods and arresting Shiites at random.16 Shiites have been arrested so far, which include Shiite religious leaders and other Shiite heads of organizations.
Furthermore, Gilgitee Security Agencies had this morning blocked all signals around Gilgit, preventing anyone from outside contacting people in Gilgit or vice versa.
Shiites across Pakistan have been angered by what they refer to as the ‘act of terrorism by Security Agencies’. These Security Agencies have so far failed to impede any attacks on Shiites and are now arresting Shiites for no reason at all.
Many Shiites are now referring to the Kohistan and other massacres where Shiites were hand-picked out of buses and lined up to be shot dead by members of SSP and LeJ – events which the “Security Agencies” failed to prevent. The Police even failed to arrest those involved.
Moreover in Gilgit, Curfew has been put in place and the Friday prayers cancelled. Funeral Prayers of the several Shiite martyrs have not been performed as scheduled.
