Quetta: Bomb blasts at Shiite residential area Alamdar Road, several injured, deaths feared

According to reports, 2 bombs went off in Quetta’s Pearl Chowk near Kandhari Imambargah injuring several Shiites. However, no deaths have been reported yet.

Rescue teams have arrived on the scene and are busy shifting the injured to the Civil Hospital. Emergency has been imposed at the hospital.

Police and rangers have completely surrounded the area. Bomb disposal squads have arrived too. The area is in complete black out which is causing difficulties in the rescue efforts.

The second blast was so powerful that it was heard in the whole city. The windows of nearby buildings have all shattered.
