Monthly Report: July took away with it 29 lives.

Shiakilling has compiled a detailed monthly report regarding shiakillings in Pakistan. A total number of 29 Shia Muslims were martyred, while 9 were wounded.
Details below :

Sindh:
A total number of 5 Shia Muslims were killed in Sindh by SSP & Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, where 4 were from karachi, leaving 1 from Nawabshah.

2 July: Habib Haider
2 July: Syed Mohammed Ibrahim Jaffri (Nawabshah)
7 July: Qamar Raza
14 July: Abu Turaab
18 July: Yawar Mehdi

Wounded:
15 July: Irfan, Sajid Raza, Ali Javed
30 July: Asghar S/O Riaz

Punjab:
A total number of 2 Shia Muslims were slaughtered by SSP & LeJ in Sargodha, Punjab. On 11th of July, Ahmed Yaar and Qasim Ali were slaughtered in Sargodha. However, according to our information, 2 Shia Muslims were wounded in Jhang, Punjab. Namely, Mehr Azam and Nasir Abbas.

Gilgit Baltistan:
Only 1 Shia Muslim was martyred while 2 were wounded in Gilgit Baltistan. The incident took place on July 1 where 3 Shia Muslims, namely, Safdar S/O Mohammed Hasan was martyred where as Shoaib and Imran were wounded. All three were targeted at a locality named Baseen, where all three were sitting at a local shop.

Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa:
A total number of 13 Shia Muslims were shot dead by terrorists in which a 14 year old girl is also included.
On 18th of July, Ali Zai road, Kohat, 12 Shia Muslims were martyred where as on 28th of July, terrorists opened fire on an Imam Bargah, which resulted in a 14 year old girl Narjis Bibi was martyred.

Balochistan:
Balochistan may be regarded as one of the most hostile areas for Shia Muslims, where the number of Shias martyred is 8, where 1 of them is from District Jafarabad, Division Osta Mohammed and 7 belonged to the city of Quetta. 1 Shia Muslim was wounded.

All in all, a total number of 29 Shia Muslims were martyred on sectarian basis in the month of July, where as 9 were left wounded.
The government, security forces and the champions of Justice are silent on these sectarian killings. Shia representatives active in major political parties are also lacking interest in this issue.

According to the numerical data present, 346 Shia Muslims have already been killed in the previous 11 months.
