Karachi: Shiite hatred continues, several Shiites arrested
According to reports, an illegal operation was conducted by police in a Shiite residential area in Hassan Colony, Karachi. Aswell as degrading an Imambargah, the police arrested dozens of Shiite youngsters.
Another similar operation was conducted in Nazimbad, where Shiites were arrested from the areas close to the Shiite Masjid, Noor-e-Iman.
It is worth mentioning that a Shiite bus was bombed yesterday, killing 2 Shiites and injuring 19 others, whereas another Shiite was targetted and shot. In the past 2 days, 31 Shiites have been killed and the police and other security agencies have made no attempt to arrest or seek out those involved.
The government should think about what they are doing. If they continue trying to isolate Shiites, Pakistan may well turn into Bangladesh.
