Karachi: Death Penalty delayed for those convicted in killing Shiites
The death penalty of 2 terrorists of the banned organization SSP, who were convicted and found guilty for the murder of a Shiite Doctor, has been delayed on the insistence of Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari.
Ataullah and Azim Khan, currently in Central Jail Karachi, were convicted and found guilty of the murder of Shiite Doctor Ali Raza Peerani. They were to be hanged till death on the 18th of July 2012, however, at the request of Zardari, the date has been delayed till september!
Shiites around Pakistan have been amazed by this sudden change of events and are questioning whether even their president is involved in the ongoing genocide.
Shiites were always complaining about the Courts releasing criminals and terrorists while imprisoning innocent Shiites. For once they were content with the Court’s decision, but it seems that even Zardari is sympathising with the killers of Shiite kids.
The family of Martyr Doctor Ali Raza Peerani is receiving threats from whom they claim to be of the same group as those who killed the doctor and who are currently in jail. It is worth asking Zardari who would be responsible if another terrorist attacked the Doctor’s family in between July and September?
