Chakwal: Extremists attack Imambargah, 3 Shiites injured

Extremists of the banned organization SSP attacked an Imambargah in Chakwal, Punjab this morning injuring 3 Shiites.

SSP held a rally in the Chak Mulk village of Chakwal unser the leadership of the Punjab government. Amongst chanting Anti-Shiite slogans, the extremists attempted to raise their own flag atop the Imambargah but were faced with resistance from the few Shiite youths who happened to be on site. The Shiites were tortured and 3 were injured as a result of this torture. The injured have been moved to a hospital nearby.

Punjab is under the rule of the Shareef brothers’ government who are known to be friendly with the banned SSP and LeJ. Indeed Ludhyanwi(the SSP head) and Rana Sanaullah(PMLN) are practically ‘buddies’. Therefore the terrorists are free to do as they please and be sure that the police or rangers or courts will do nothing against them.
